Short Track Stockers Summer Sizzler at The Gorge

The second race of the Columbia River Slot Car Racers Summer Sizzler series turned out to be a sizzler on the track only as the skies were rainy and cool (outside only). But that didn't stop the six racers in attendance from blistering the track surface with some close contact Short Track Stocker racing! This class definitely provides for some spirited racing! With two rounds of racing and five minute heats there was still plenty of time for eating and spreading the bull! I for one am really enjoying the shorter sprint type races! Thank you Bob!

IROC Race at Electron Raceway in Roseburg

Rich Vecchio hosted an awesome IROC race at Electron Raceway in Roseburg on Saturday June 13, 2026. Hosting IROC races is definitely challenging for a track owner, but Rich made it happen with positive results! The cars he prepared were fast, handled well, and held up through the entire race!

Last Race of the Season at Rob's Redline Raceway!

Last night was the last race race of the season at Rob's Redline Raceway. Although we had a slim turn out, it seemed as though the racers that did make it had a very good time!

So Long to Springwater Raceway

On Saturday April 18th we said goodbye to Springwater Raceway. The OSCAR Trans Am race was the last race scheduled for the iconic track.

Welcome to NASTE
|
 NASTE provides slot car hobbyist’s with opportunities to further their interest in slot cars through social gathers as well as structured race programs. NASTE also connects with other clubs which provides even more options for racing.
NASTE was established in 1996 by a small group of slot car racing enthusiasts in the Portland, Oregon area that wanted something different. At first we raced on a short, 3 lane routed 1/24 scale track. The racing was intense! Click here to view the original site. Soon we expanded adding more tracks to the racing schedule.
Our goal is to make our racing inexpensive, with the main focus being on having FUN! Besides, we have learned that low tech can be very competitive! 3 rounds with 3.5 minute heats. 1st round serves as " qualifying" to set up starting order for remaining heats.
No fees for this race! Lunch provided!
